I wonder it already does or not, but if not, it should be.

thermal thing can use old(a physics frame ago(<0.14sec)) loaction of parts for heat transper because only thing that would impact in thermal calculation is when a part of ship exploded, and mostly heat transper rate is low enough that a frame of error doesn't make upderheat or overheat. and if a part exploded due to overhead, I hope it being endured 0.14 sec longer won't make many difference..

YES. Since the new physics will only use 3 threads and most people have at least a quad core we should have that as an option.

So first, no, you can't use old data. Think about reentry. We actually tried doing something similar, and it blew up badly. But second, as the devnotes pointed out, I've done a lot of optimization work and thermo adds barely any overhead now.
