Youtube monetization

Ive done a few searches, and found a few posts encouraging videos but no \'official\' word on if we can actually monetize our videos or not.

is there anyone else who knows a bit more about this that can help (i.e a dev, an admin, someone who already knows this by experience). I have sent an email to support but there has been no response as of yet

Whether or not it\'s allowed, I think this goes against the spirit of KSP, one of the reasons I paid for the full version was to support a small developer and join the growing community of fans who seemed to love sharing their tips, mods, advice, videos and other assorted fanworks.

Monetizing a KSP video won\'t take profit away from Squad.

Publicity will however do the opposite, and if monetizing your videos help you produce more content then thats great in my opinion.

But since the moderator-team is in no way capable of making business decisions on behalf of Squad you\'ll have to wait until a Squad employee can give you a answer, I\'ll do my best to poke one of them as soon as I get the chance.

Get yourself a good track record of high quality videos that promote the game and thousands of subscribers, then contact Squad directly.

I\'ll tell you, from experience, that even if you have the necessary authorization documents youtube will still disable your videos, making you send the same document to them every time you post something new.

yeah, I noticed still tho KSP has done huge amounts for my channel, it brought my subs from about 20 to 106 in no time flat, so even if im not allowed to monetize my vids im still gonna keep recording and uploading them because people love seeing this stuff

Video Monetization has no affect on money from Squad. I found out about the game via KurtJMac's channel and I've since bought the game. Four of my friends have watched me play and also bought the game, with two or three more playing the demo and heavily thinking about buying it.
