Send me an entire folder that contains the model. If you have done everything correctly in Unity means I can make it work and explain your problem.

The part is very bad xD i am still learning modelling and texturing

When you first load an error, though I corrected everything he could, and even deleted texture. Most likely something not done in Unity.

An ideas as to what it could be? I Followed both guides, i did create a collision mesh here are the files: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/htmdhjuiuesl4rt/AABaJ_VIJI2k5NTzDFEZzkZka?dl=0

Kerbal is the Unity file i used and within the rocket tank folder is the blender model and the textures i made

hmmm ok, thanks for that. Wonder why the old cfg didn't work.

In terms of attaching co-ordinates. Does 1 unit = 1 meter if you used meters while making the model?

Sometimes it happens, though rarely.
I do not understand the question, do you work in Blender3D?

Yeah, i have Blender set to Meters, but in the cfg file you have to put in the co-ordinates for snapping to other parts

Yes it is,although I check how I will be the attachment point in Unity, simply create an empty Gameobject, then leaned to the right points of the results. :)
