So what ended your Career mode play through?

Launched a vessel to eve in .90, arrived in 1.0.5, burned up in the aerobrake. Sigh

an1.05 bug caused when the resolution sizes up to full screen on my laptop, that just outright broke the map view and tracking station messing with the perspective and making it unusable in full screen. and i don't enjoy playing windowed so I've paused until 1.1 to see if it fixes the bug.

I just finished setting up a career mode game in preparation for 1.1. I unlocked all the buildings and science. I have a high reputation, just over 3 million funds, and the strategy that converts science to funds. All this was done just going to the Mun.

Once 1.1 is available, I'll use this save to build a role play campaign that should last me a long time.

I keep one or two KSP installs of every update, from 0.22 to 1.0.5. My KSP folder uses 28GB at the moment.

I'm mainly a sandbox player. Every update I start a new save and the ones in 0.23.5 and 0.90 were career mode. I tried career every update, but never liked it. I decided try it again when 0.90 came out, but now it's on hold. IIRC, I was stablishing my comm and supply structure at the joolian system (Remotetech + USILS).

I don't play KSP since 1.0 came out. Of course I tried 1.0 to 1.0.5 but I never started a serious save. I got tired of starting again because of gameplay changes.

What ended my Playthrough:

Basically, the LV-N nerf from a while back.
If you want to do awesome stuff around Jool without Mining you will run out fuel quick.

I love that the LV-N is now using LF only but it got heavier, which is the actual pain to it.
Maybe i have to tweak it a little myself for the next Career.

Performance. Dinky little 30-part mun flybys are fine and all, but docking late-game spaceplanes to large stations, or building surface bases at <10FPS is not really all that fun.
