Number of active logins limited?

Hi! I have noticed a rather strange thing. I am logged in to my forum account on quite a few devices (Linux Desktop, Windows Desktop, Work Desktop, Tablet, Phone, ...). However, when I log in to "one too many", to me it seems that one of the other devices gets logged out. I have observed this more or less consistently, and I am sure I did not clear any cookies. I don't think they expired either, because the logins are a few days old at most.

Is it just me or does the number of active logins seem limited? If so, is there a way to increase the limit?

That's quite low priority, because obviously i can just enter my password. But I am lazy, so I wanted to ask

I've got five different devices logged in right now, and move freely between them without any problems.

(for the record, they're two laptops running OSX, my android phone, and Windows 10 and Linux environments on my desktop PC)

Yeah, I've noticed this too. Not quite sure what the limit is (four? five?) but having one too many does seem to log me out of another pretty much immediately.
