*Note, I don't play with RO and all my wings overheat far quicker than it should. Since I'm not bothered to change the configs for 10+ parts, I will be playing on 50% reentry heat.

Unfortunately I mucked up the transfer windows, so I will be launching some probes to Venus, Saturn and Jupiter first.

Well that's quite weird. Like managing to do a direct transfer to Pluto before making it to the moon.

Let's make it historical budget problems cancel the Jupiter and Saturn probes.

Venus 1

Now this probe is over and done with, I can concentrate on the Mars mission.

EDIT: My Mars ships at the moment are kraken bait. I might need to make a new save and hyper edit them into orbit. So far, the main culprit for the kraken seems to be KAC. I'm testing at the moment.

I just realised I severely underestimated the amount of Delta-V required for a Mars lander. Oops. Also, i just learnt parachutes don't work.

BAD NEWS: The parachutes don't work in regular stock atmo. I'm cheating because I know that parachutes will work in Mars' gravity.
