d4rksh4de
How can I continue from "KSP Stats Tracking" in main menu without sending any data to KSP Servers? Edited March 30, 2016 by d4rksh4de
sal_vager
It's not spying, it's voluntary, lots of games ask for feedback. Just click on "don't send my IP" to enable it, then click on continue.

You can, apparently, exclude IP and "game progress", but there's no choice for "Game ID", "Game Version" or "Platform" - Unless I'm misreading this, sending that data is entirely involuntary if you want to play the game. The solution? Firewall the damn thing. If you're going to call it "voluntary", then it needs a "Don't send any data" option. sal_vager
Game ID, version and platform are covered under "Send anonymous game progress data, which is off in the above image. Some mods will send data and are not controlled by the settings in that dialogue. I'm not going to let this thread turn into an argument on spying, if you're that worried feel free to unplug your router/firewall KSP. Closing!
