SAS suddenly not working

I moved kerbals over from one spacecraft to another and all of a sudden my SAS wouldn't turn on. I have a pilot on board and a it still wouldn't turn on. now I can't toggle SAS for any of my crafts and after 10 minutes RCS stops working. I checked and the keys work fine for everything else. Does anyone know what is happening?
