Yeah, my thought too. Remove the big mods (Near future, US, and KW Rocketry) and see if you get further in the game. With all the new parts in the more recent builds of KSP, there's less and less RAM available for addons, and you usually hit the ceiling faster than you might have older builds.

How much memory does your system have in total?

ZOMG, you have a time-machine? Gimme!

I guess you mean 1.0.5 :P

Linking your output_log.txt might shed some light, though I'm inclined to agree on the memory front.
On that, reducing texture quality also helps with memory usage, if you haven't tried that already.

Here is the log

Erm, that appears to be the same file you posted earlier. I meant output_log - see the post I linked for where to find it.

Getting it now

Bingo: "d3d: failed to create 2D texture id=6543 w=1024 h=1024 mips=11 d3dfmt=21 [out of memory]"

Sorry boss, looks like the OOM idea was right on the money.

Remove some texture-heavy mods, reduce texture quality, or perhaps try --force-opengl. I hear this saves some RAM on Windows, but I don't run windows, so YMMV.
