ineedferrets
Hey,I\'ve been playing KSP for a couple days now (it\'s so good).I was looking at some youtube videos and saw some people had some orbiting satellites around their planets. I was just wondering how you would do that? Thanks,JH
Matticus88
There are many mod parts you can build a satellite with, 'Probodobodyne Construction Kit - v0.5' has some good satellite parts. Just build one, stick on on the top of a rocket, get it into a nice orbit and ta da! Satellite in orbit Just don\'t press 'End Flight' or your sat will just dissapear, quite by going to the space centre, then you can leave the game or start on a new rocket/spaceplane
Spike88
If you\'re playing the demo, I don\'t think you can. If you\'re playing the regular game, just return to the Space facility while you have a ship in orbit and it\'ll be a satellite. If you want actual satellites check out these two mods:http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=13912.0http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/index.php?topic=11622.
Markus Reese
Myself, I like the powersat/dynasat kit. Later on, the combo of parts it entails such as the zeoxyne kit makes alot of fun. The toughest part about setting up sat networks is getting the nice orbits so they stay spaced out.
