I always thought of what it would look like if someone made a bunch of battle cruisers and put them in a sort of staging area, like orbiting minmus. A lot of work but worth the pride.

I had an idea once of roping them all together so they don\'t float away.

I currently am away from my ksp computer, but take the SS-3 replace the second stage with a large space plane that has 2 smaller craft attached, plus larger planes replacing the 3rd and 4th stages for a total of 20 planes deployable on a moments notice, anywhere in the world.

You should be able to get the velocity difference down well below 1m/s... This gives a significant period of time to get the next one in place, and you can always readjust.

Thanks! Oh and Tim I saw your work it was awesome! I hope I can build ships like that! But the Blazer 1 is exactly what I meant a sort of 'blockade' except with cruisers.
