rocket shoots out of view after 10,000 feet after launch

Recommended Posts

when I launch my rockets now in 1.1, at around 6 or 7,000 feet, the camera view no longer sticks to the rocket and instead trails long behind it like it is focused on a piece of invisible debris trailing the rocket.  I can't get the  camera to go back to the rocket even though I can still control it and still faintly see it above when zoomed out.  Does anyone know what might be the cause of this?

hello, you have smoke screen installed. Does this make your engine effects fire off inside VAB? Also the problem you are having is the same as mine. Once I deleted 2 engines off craft, it worked............upon further testing found out any engine that was using moduleEnginesFX was causing those issues. Even the stock parts in a stock install were doing it. The Kickback SRB for example would not even show a staging icon in VAB. And on the pad no engine effects, but the thrust was present. Tweakscale as some said was not the cause of my issues.

And btw this occured EXACLTY AT 7000 meters all the same.
