KSP Wont Start After Update

Hello

I have just updated KSP 1.1. Now when I go to start it when I press the shortcut nothing happens. I have tried opening without the launcher as well. I am running KSP on a mac without steam. Thanks in advance.

A similar thing just happened to me.  I updated KSP to 1.1 and now my game won't start up. Whenever I click the icon a crash window immediately pops up. It's pretty lame. I'm on a mac as well. Seems like games just aren't made to work very well on macs. I'm pretty sure the optimal platform for this game is windows but what are you going to do? I just wish the developers would put a bit more time into the mac side of the game. Sorry that I don't have a solution for you but I just felt like commenting.

AFAICT, the patcher is bung on all platforms. Try downloading a fresh copy from the store.

For the record, I run GNU/Linux, and I'm not impressed with this BS either. That a professional studio (>20 million copies sold) can let such a simple task as an rsync patcher outfox them is beyond bizarre.
