[support] Can't open/close right click menus

Recommended Posts

KSP Version:
1.1.0.1230, Manjaro Linux 64-bit

What Happens:
If you open a right click menu for a part from a symmetry group, then pin it, an attempt to open a menu for other parts of the same symmetry group would result in inability to close any opened right click menus and inability to open new ones.

Mods / Add-Ons:
Stock

Steps to Replicate:
General:
* During flight
* Right click a part to open it's menu
* Pin the menu
* Right click any part from the same symmetry group as the first clicked part without holding the mod key. Apparently nothing happens.

Example with a simple craft (command pod and 2 goo canisters)
craft: http://pastebin.com/mZy4aVB6
* Right click a goo canister
* Pin the opened menu
* Right click the other canister without holding the mod key. Apparently nothing happens.

Result:
* Right clicking any parts wouldn't open any menus for them
* Already open menus can't be closed either (even after unpinning, as if they remain pinned forever)

Fixes/Workarounds:
Not known yet

Other Notes/Pictures/Log Files:
In the last step, where apparently nothing happens a NullReferenceException is thrown, which can be seen in the following screenshot:

First I didn't knew why can't I open right click menus for symmetric parts if one was open.
Then I found about the need to hold the mod key.
But strangely no one mentioned there, that they can't open other menus, if they don't hold the mod key.
So looks like, some may experience the bug, some may not.

// EDIT
Oh... I found the bug in the bugtracker.
http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/9369
Looks like there is no need to develop the thread here, as the bug is already in the bug tracker.
