Very large ships without good structuring can come apart under the high G loads, especially if they come in at a bad angle. The vid I think is mine, and nope, not very interesting since was just a quickie. The reference to ships exploding was talking about the proposals for v.16 where the goal is re-entry heat and damage. Coming in too fast could then result in damage if this is put into place.

I would love to see this on video, ive never had a shit explode cause my re-entry stage rocket is usually so small that it isnt affected by the high G forces.
