Part in the water that disappear when cursor on it

New day, new bug in KSP 1.1.

The part in the water disappear when i put my mouse on it and that the overlay is visible (meaning that pressing F2 makes the overlay disappear but the part coming back)

 

And do not worry for the pink textures ... that's just another bug ...

I'm having the same issue when hovering over fairing-shielded parts in the VAB, tho mine is a modded install.

The interesting point is that this bug occurs only if the camera is outside of the water. When the camera is in the water, the part is visible.

Vanilla game freshly installed for me.

Saw a bug report on the tracker regarding this already. Seems to happen when you have two transparent layers (in this case, water and highlight) overlapping. Same happens with highlight on an object inside a transparent faring. 

Edit: When the camera is underwater, I think the entire screen just gets a blue tint, rather than there being an actual rendered layer.
