How to upload attachment?

So, I am trying to generate some ribbons from KerbalTek, and when I hit "Insert other media-insert existing attachment," It says it is "Not available for my account. 

Very frustrated. Tried this multiple times. Can anyone help? Thanks.

We don't have attachments on this forum, you have to put images on an image hosting site and then a link to the hosted image
Once you've generated and downloaded the ribbon, upload it to somewhere like imgur.com.  When it's uploaded click on it and you get a set of links, copy the one called "direct link".  
Then click the insert other media menu and select insert image from url. Paste the url in and hit insert.  (you can also just paste the url directly into your sig or post and most times it will detect that it's an image url and display the image).
You can then double click on the image and change it's size if needed or add a link.

@katateochi is right, the image needs to be hosted elsewhere and linked.

Yes. Any host that gives you a link to the raw image works fine, i.e. the URL ends in .jpg or .png.

One more question. I've seen people put youtube videos in posts, but I can't figure that out either. *Sigh* I'm such a noob.
