RO - no docking

In Realism Overhaul I cant dock any spacecraft using the dockingport (propellant only). Both spacecraft just bump into each other. Through testing I found out that I can only dock two spacecraft, when they were pre-docked, disconnected them and docked again.

Which craft were you trying? KSP 1.0.5 or 1.1.? ?

Which version of RO?

Many details (and more!) needed, as everything is a in a state of flux and now more than ever it isn't safe to assume others know the specs of your setup.

I use KSP 1.0.5 and RO v10.9.6. I used two identical unmanned crafts.

Which other data are neccessary to find out the problem ? Do you need any game data ?

Problem: 2 unmanned spacecraft with dockingport (propellant only) dont dock in space, it just works when they were already pre-docked in the VAB

Launch 2 unmanned spacecraft with the dockingport (propellant only) into space and try to dock
