Targeting bug?

Thought I'd see if anyone else is having the same issue before I start removing mods to see if it's one of them.

Did a couple of rescue an orbiting Kerbal contracts last night, and while I can target their craft and get the orange and purple markers in the map screen, when I switch to the ship view I'm not getting the yellow marker on the target craft.  The direction to target marker and relative speed are showing in the nav ball, so it's definitely targeted, but no text with the ship name and range.  Managed to get within a couple of hundred yards flying on instruments, switched to the stranded pod, and then found my rescue ship by eye.  Is this a bug or a setting I've got turned off somewhere?

I'm using version 1.1.2 with RemoteTech, ScanSat and KER.

Alt+F4 fixes all problems.

[sarcasm] And while you're at it, delete System32.  [/sarcasm]

But seriously, if you don't see vessel labels, be sure that they're on in the settings menu. Either that or you probably bumped the F4 button which toggles the labels in flight.

Yes, definitely hit F4. This is a new "feature", but it is not well enough documented.

This new feature was introduced in version 0.14, according to the wiki (way before my time), where it is documented as "Toggle Ship Labels".

Ah, I see.  Apologies for being slow ^^

SLOW!  I've been playing KSP for years, have done everything imaginable, have build my own parts and have debugged other people's mods .... and this is the first time I've noticed that F4 does anything.
