Big-S LFO storage.

Recommended Posts

I don't know how to do that. It's a good idea though, especially because the big-S wing is meant to look like the space shuttle wings. Actually, it would be useful to have that for all parts, a way to change what it holds. For example a way to change what fuel it had so I could use the big kerbodyne tanks, which hold WAY more fuel than the long mk3 LF fuselage would be useful, so then i finally had enough fuel for my nuclear tug refueling stations.

You can also do it with a Module manager patch.  Interstellar Fuel Switch has always been buggy.  It breaks your ability to lock resources in tanks (all tanks) and the author either doesn't know how to fix it or doesn't care.  Not sure which.

@PART[wingShuttleDelta]
{
	RESOURCE
	{
		name = Oxidizer
		amount = 0 //unusual for shuttle wings, empty by default
		maxAmount = 367
	}
}
@PART[wingShuttleStrake]
{
	RESOURCE
	{
		name = Oxidizer
		amount = 0 //unusual for shuttle wings, empty by default
		maxAmount = 122
	}
}

Personally I mod them to include Monoprop, as I prefer my OMS to be something other than LFO.  I typically use Puff engines.

Modular Fuel Tanks is my preferred tank content switcher, the interface is a bit plain but it is very flexible. Put whatever you want in whatever tank you want, in whatever quantity.

Thanks! This is going into my Jool save!

Any quantity you want? That seems OP.

Within the limitation of the tank size, of course. :)

IIRC, you can also mix and match different propellants in the same tank, so you could have LF, O and MP in one part.

Oh I see.  Does it have a shortcut for a 9:11 LFO or do I have to pull out the calculator for that?
