A forum editor bug messed up some quoting which appears to cause issues for Chrome when displaying the thread.  Load this thread in Chrome and see the post sticking out of the right margin and my quoting of it that does the same.

ummm.... iPad chrome does not do this.

Well, it does on Windows though you have to have the window narrower than a certain limit.

I can confirm this. I'm not able to screenshot at this time but on chrome on my chromebook I see the post sticking past the window, even in fullscreen mode.

Any chance this issue could be forwarded to the authors of the forum software (Invision Power Services?) or, in fact, acknowledged in any, vaguely official, way...?

A forum update is scheduled for tomorrow, I'd be interested to see if that fixes it. If not, we'll forward the bug

It doesn't look like it fixed existing posts with the problem.  I'm not sure about whether the editor quoting glitch that caused it is fixed as I'm not really sure how I hit the problem in the first place.
