Disabling Stock Parts?

Is there a way to disable stock parts? I like to use Karbonite and the presence of the stock resource gathering parts bothers me.

You can search the ../GameData/Squad/Parts/ folder and delete them.

Always a good idea to back-up those files in case you want them back. And it WILL delete all craft currently using those parts. (Not the craft saved but those currently flying/landed/whatever.)

A more graceful (because reversible) method than flat-out deleting things would be using AutoPruner. But in your case the end result will be the same either way.
