Kraken strong in 1.1.2 - Taking my stations by wobble - Help!

I'm playing KSP quite some time now.

Since the most recent update I'm having trouble launching my stations.

Sometimes in the launchpad, sometimes in space my stations start to wobble slightly, but the wobble gets worse every second and cannot be prevented until the station is just a lump of parts.

The only relevant mod installed is Kerbal Joint reinforcement.

What is causing this, it really is preventing my Jool missions!

Well, that's something Dany2462 would be proud of

But seriously, you appear to have lots of clipping going on at all the joints of the station.  I would blame that.

Also, does this happen if you try to re-orient the station manually or only with MJ's SmartASS?

1. There ist not so much clipping. Only Clipping is the 2,5 to 1,25 adapters that connect the orange Fuel tanks to the "main nodes".

Other than that - no clipping at all.

2. It happens manually and via MechJeb, but rather random.

It looks like a lot of clipping to me.  Each of the vertical tanks has 4 things clipped into it, the central shaft has 6, and most of the adapters on the radial and circumferential tanks also clip into their neighbors.  I'd say the clipping is what's doing it.

I would imagine It's a combination of clipping and not enough struts. Even a little bit can sometimes be enough to tear craft apart, so hopefully putting on struts will help.

Thank you for the proposal, of course I tried the struts - sadly without noticable effect, they wobble as well.

I'll try a complete redesign, only downside is, I have the same effect on strictly linear stations without any clipping.

I just picked this one, because it is more reproducable with the ring.
