Well the internet have hyped this new console that appeared on Kickstarter named OUYA

The idea is that the console will be open to everyone with free SDK and Modding tools, to appeal to the inde game makers and at the same time be cheap and high preforming.

And the big question is if Ksp would fit as a console game and if this console can make Ksp maybe even a better experience than it is on pc?

xbox-360-controller.jpg

Start: Menu/Pause

A: Stage

B: Toggle camera/ship controls

X: Toggle SAS

Y: Toggle RCS

Left/right buttons: Throttle up/down

Left/right triggers: Roll

Left stick: Pitch/Yaw

Right stick: Translate side/forward

D-pad up/down: translate up/down

D-pad left/right: ?

...so we have three buttons left. It\'s doable, but you\'d need the camera controls to share with the translation controls.

How does Unity work for Android anyway? I\'m really a novice to programming, so it\'s how I\'ve heard that Android apps are coded in Java and Unity stuff in C# that makes me wonder.

The mono framework supports native C# code. The only way it has Mac and Linux is because of that framework.

I don\'t think it would be easy for KSP to port to a console yet. I think they should stick with PCs until the full release then decide if they want to release for consoles/android yet.

the OUYA console will use contollers with touchpads according to the kickstarter.

If they use touch pads me might be able to use gestures to steer the rocket.
