Black shadows in vacuum

In stock KSP, shadows on atmosphereless bodies are semi-transparent as if shadowed objects are lighted by diffused light.

Is there a mod making shadows completely black and adding diffused light only when atmosphere is present?

I haven't seen any mod that does that. Would the shadows actually be completely black? I would think in many (most?) situations you would have light scattered off the surrounding terrain giving a small amount of illumination to the shadows.

I guess you could install PlanetShine and turn off everything including ambient.
