Asteroid showing up black, no texture.

My asteroid is pitch black even in light. There's no texture and nothing I've done works. I've made sure it is facing the sun. I've shined a light on it. I've deleted and reinstalled my game. Nothing. It's still completely black. What can I do to fix this?

 

Running this on a late 2011 Macbook Pro with OS X El Capitan
