Altimeter Symbols Near Vertical Speed

Recommended Posts

Just to the right of the Altimeter, but to the left of the vertical speed indicator, is a downward facing arrow, that is sometimes blue. Just below that is an indicator light which is sometimes off, sometimes red. What do these mean?

The indicator light turns on when you are descending faster than 15 m/s. When it goes out, it's almost safe to land.

The colored arrow indicates your "recovery state". Green = OK to recover vessel to KSC. Orange = almost ready to recover but still moving a little bit. Blue = OK to switch focus to KSC. Black = you are stuck watching this vessel.
