Jeb Frowning?

How on Kerbin is Jeb FROWNING?

Only time I've seen Jeb that worried was while during a re-entry sans cockpit...  He actually screamed most of the way down with very little pause for breath until the parachute deployed, when he was all smiles again.

I've had Jeb look that worried once before, and it was when I deployed main-drogues too early (using full chutes as drogue chutes because drogues weren't slowing me down enough) and the chutes broke because I was going too fast.  It only lasted a few seconds before he had his grin again.

And yes, he did survive.  Emergency cockpit ejection and parachute systems were installed just in case I couldn't slow down the rest of the plane.

Jeb is usually unflinchingly bold (or cluelessly cheery, maybe it's the same thing) in the face of anything but complete explodey disaster. Getting Jeb to genuinely freak out is a major accomplishment. Getting Jeb to genuinely freak out and surviving is even more impressive.

This happened when a spaceplane blew up on the runway. It was a pretty bad design. I'm more of a rocket guy. He did survive. And I think that the worse the situation, the more Jeb just smiles towards imminent death. Iv'e also noticed that during reentry Kerbals are all smiley, at least for me:

"Yeah Fun!"

but otherwise just freak out:

He wasn't frowning! That screen shot caught him in the midst of uttering kerbal obscenities because control of the craft was taken away from him!

Jeb has only frowned when a plane had an a fine cut and it started to spin creating 30 g

When there is an explosion very close to his cockpit, he gets a little startled but 3 seconds after that, he's grinning like mad.

I had him frown once, although it wasn't actually a frown, it was more 'thin-lipped' stare. It was during a launch heading west into a retrograde orbit. He was probably wondering 'What the hell is this guy doing?'. He was all smiles when we met up with the asteroid though.

Those good old days before I was even playing KSP...

And no @Corona688, this was in v. 1.1. I blew up a spaceplane on the runway to produce Jeb's frown.

I managed to get him to frown once. I think it was when he was about to slam into Kerbin on EVA. He resumed smiling right before he actually hit, however, and ended up surviving
