Is it just me, or are people "snip"ing quotes less?

Some people tend to quote huge posts with lots of pictures and text, only to add a short remark. That is just not cool, man. Not cool.

I always try to snip large quotes, it's really annoying when you're browsing through a post and suddenly there's this enormous replica of the original post inside a quote, with 30 HD images inside it.

You then make it past the humongous quote just to see that the "quoter" only wrote something like "I agree" or some 4-word-phrase in response.
