Scale parameter not working

I tried to import a 3D model in KSP, but it was way too big. I tried to use the scale factor in the CFG but it has no effect at all. Is there a solution ?

To the best of my knowledge, it does nothing. However, with .16, there will be a FUNCTIONAL scale factor parameter in the cfg\'s, so hold your breath, i guess.

IIRC that setting doesn\'t scale the visual size of the part but something else and I can\'t seem to recall what it was.

The scale factor in CFG is for attachment points and with engines where the thrust is and where the visual smoke comes from. It has nothing to do with the 3d model. Maybe in the future there will be a second setting. Where the 3d model can be scaled.
