Your Thoughts on Independence Day: Resurgance

I'm Already expecting alot of people to say it was crappy and was messy but if you liked the original ID, Chances are you would of liked ID:R. I enjoyed it alot because theres going to be a third movie  and because i liked the just general scifi-ness (And Cinema Surround System) of the movie.

It needed Will Smith. Movie took itself way to seriously. Not enough focus on the original characters which was the best part of the movie. Instead they shoehorned these young, mediocre actors in to try and make a trilogy out of it. No thanks. Some movies should just never get sequels. Great CGI though.

Even though I enjoyed the original years ago, nothing in the trailers interests me. It looks like a lot of Baysplosions.

There's actually not alot of explosions in the movie.

Is it out already? I haven't been paying too much attention to it, but if it is out they missed out on a huge opportunity to release it on Independednce Day.

I probably won't see it unless I get bored and somehow have absolutely nothing else to do. No Will Smith (but still Jeff Goldblum) really turns me off. I don't know about spending $20 to watch Jeff Goldblum stutter and say "Uh" for two hours, with aliens and popcorn mixed in.

Mindless summer asplosion movie. That's it and that's how we should approach it. No expectations. Just silly crap for wasting money for ticket, popcorn and a drink.

I keep seeing the commercials on TV and thinking they're for Apartments.com because of Jeff Goldblum. Probably won't even Netflix it.
