Munar Crusade Mun Outpost

This post will act as a log for the construction of a Mun outpost built only out of craft from the Alpha and possibly Beta versions of Kerbal Space Program.

Current Phase: Phase 3- My Original Tylo Lander

Since I really want the Munar Crusade badge and want some use for my older vessels from the Alpha versions of KSP again I decided to complete the Munar Crusade Challenge using my old vessels, upgraded and ready for a new launch. It was really interesting considering the new aerodynamics...

I will be completing this over a few days and a few videos to get the crafts I feel necessary to Mun and land them next to a Mun Arch.

Phase 1: Colonizer 1

-This craft actually has the honor of being the first craft I build in the full version of Kerbal Space Program, I have one save (my first save) where I have landed atleast 1 Colonizer 1 craft on every landable body except Tylo. The Mun landing the craft first made landed next to a Mun Arch I discovered during a Mun landing in the Demo version of KSP. Now it will land there again only closer to the arch.

Phase 2: Colony Bus

- This craft was built to be a mobile version of the Colonizer 1, equipped with parachutes at times it has gone to Eve and driven a considerable distance and landed on Minmus on it's maiden mission.

Phase 3: Original Tylo Lander

- After I couldn't land a Colonizer 1 on Tylo I thought it would be my first truly failed mission with stranded Kerbals. After they managed to make it to Bop and land I still had to colonize Tylo. This was a lander concept I had for Tylo but has actually never been to Tylo. One day I might do a Tylo mega-mission with the lander.
