Are there any active weapons mods?

Just curious since I saw that BD Armory apparently doesn't work in 1.1+ and most or all other weapons mods that I'm aware of require it.

HI BD does work in 1.1.x although strictly it hasn't been updated, so you're pretty much on your own should you encounter problems. At present BD is the only mod to provide a weapons plugin for others to build upon, and yes ALL current weapons mods do require it, there used to be another option (skillful) but I haven't heard anything about it for a long time.

The big problem is that Baha did a great job with BDA and nobody needed an alternative, and the code for the mod is extremely lengthy and quite complex in some areas, this has discouraged the usual suspects from getting an unofficial version together.

That all said if you do run into any bother with BD most of the weapons pack devs (me included) are usually quite helpful ( as long as they are approached in the right way) are still making new stuff and supporting as best we can

Thanks for the reply. My understanding was that it was completely broken in the current version, but if that's not the case, I'll give it a shot.
