How do I get out of IVA?

Sometimes in missions I happen to find myself stuck in IVA, which is why I don't use it. What's the key to switch out of it? I tried looking in the options, nothing that solves my problem.

it is  V or C to change view.

But I know that some users have been speaking about having some kind of bug with "eva"  ( different than what you write IVA ) whey cannot control their ship or kerbals and they get stuck outside but it sound like a different issue than yours.

Yeah, IVA toggle key is 'C' unless you've remapped it.  And it doesn't work if you are in map view you have to be in the internal view to toggle out of it.
