MIT Space Shuttle Design Lectures

Hi all,

As a few people on here are already aware, some years back, MIT ran their Aircraft Systems Engineering course based on studying the systems engineering of the Space Shuttle. This happened in 2005 and is a goldmine of nerdly goodness for those interested in the shuttle, as they had over 30 hours total of lectures by many of those behind the key decisionmaking on the Space Shuttle, many of whom sadly are no longer with us.

This is a pretty great resource for shuttle enthusiasts (and also those less enthusiastic, but who value historical records :D ).

Happily for us, MIT released the video recordings of these lectures onto youtube some years back, but not so good were the awful audio levels on the recordings.

With that in mind, and as the videos were released with  Creative Commons BY-NC-SA  licensing, I've gone through and downloaded the lot, relevelled the audio, and uploaded the more workable versions of the lecture videos.

I hope some of you can gain as much insight into the shuttle as I have from these lectures, with the added bonus that you won't have to crank your volume way up and then deafen yourself when windows plays a notification sound!

Timmers.

For completeness and to play a good citizen, the originals are here :-
