Light it up-A trip to Laythe and Back.

So, I've been putting together a project over the course of a few days.

I decided to head to Laythe, and boy, was it worth it.

Did it crash? Almost. Did it work? Yes.

Not too bad for iMovie and Quicktime Player...

I worked great as far as I could tell.  What almost crashed, your computer?   And good job hitting a reasonably flat Laythe island with a capsule lander.  I always need to do the artillery forward observer method.  

FO:  "Fire mission, adjusting fire.,  I will observe.  Target is large equatorial island at 167^ W  My azimuth to target is straight down from above.  One round, capsule.  Shoot."
Battery:  "Shot, over.". (aka execute de-orbit burn with trajectory touching surface at point X)
FO:  "Drop 100km, repeat."  (aka F9)
Battery:  "Shot, over." (de-orbit again with trajectory touching surface 100km west of initial aiming point)
FO:  "Add 25km repeat." (aka F9)
Battery:  "Shot, over."
FO:  "On target, fire for effect, 1 round, capsule." (aka F9 and this time take screenshots/video)
Battery:  "Shot.  Rounds complete, over."
FO:  "Mission complete.  Capsule safely down.  Good shooting, out."  

Now beware, for the above Unholy Litany contains true Words of Power.  Recite this spell (with appropriate situational modifications) while you're communing with a firing battery and whatever problem you had at the target location will simply waft away in a cloud of acrid smoke, dust, and combusted organic molecules.  Of course, the cartographers hate you for making them revise their maps and you'll be visited by scores of vengeful ghosts every night for the rest of your life, but if you're wizard enough to use this spell to begin with, none of that will bother you.

Also note the use of the word "repeat".  That is a particularly important Word of Power.  It tells your firing battery to shoot the same thing it did before with whatever adjustments, if any, you gave it.  Thus, nobody ever says "repeat" on the radio unless they want more of the same from the artillery.  If they themselves are iterating something they said before, or if they want somebody else to do that, the proper Words of Power are "say again".  Many would-be wizards have been smitten by their own artillery for saying "repeat" after they've occupied a target the artillery was previously bombarding.  Ye hae been warned.
