I solved my Crash Issues - Xbox One

After lurking around for a while i noticed a pattern that if you run out of memory, then the game crashes.  So after some help from some great people here I learned how to get rid of my space trash  I got rid of 3 satellites, and all the space junk, and my game has not locked up since.

I went to the tracking station, and got rid of everything.  I clicked on a item, then below it there is a red X and it lets you remove it.  I suppose I had so much space junk, that the game had to render physics on each piece and ran out of memory.  It may lock up in the next 30 seconds, but so far a couple hours and no game crashes.  Let me know if it helps you.  Hopefully we have solved one problem for the xbox, and hopefully will help the PS people also.  Thanks to the people on this board that helped me figure out how to delete these items so I could test my theory.

Nice hypothesis, will try it out on the PS and report my findings, although it took me 4 nights before my big crash last time so it might take a moment or two. 

EDIT: Save got killed on my first Duna approach, at least I'm getting pretty good at the start of the game. Designed all my vessels in such a way that there wouldn't be any "space litter".

Cool.  Before I would crash constantly.  My game would crash before I could reach the Mun.  It was so bad I almost deleted the game.  Its MUUUUCH better now.

Only this is that now I am questioning putting up a base on the moon, or a Space Station. ( I haven't figured out how to dock yet so it doesn't really matter)

 Thought this as well, don't get your hopes up I made it all the way to landing on duna In Career mode being g sure to delete all craft and debris as soon as possible and still ended up with crash to desktop and corrupt data. It does however seem to let you progress a bit further before it happens

Another solution i had was unistalling (post crash and save files stopping) clearing internal data from manage game screen then finally reinstalling and have been running day about 3 days with no problems also when saving making olny one quick save i.e. deleting the #1 and just calling the save quicksave.
