  1. Not to get your hopes up too much, but SQUAD responded in the following thread: At least they still act like they are working on it EDIT: See comment from Monstah below, I kinda Jeb'd up the link...
  2. Good to see some message from squad. Am really eager to find out what's the cause of this delay.
  3. I'll do that as well, can always re-buy it when they finally decide to inform us.
  4. Sounds like things are getting into motion slowly yet surely. From all the info we received it is really hard to make a clear image of what is going on. Could be that they just sent it out this morning and now started to answer emails with "yeah, we already sent out the latest build". Fingers crossed for a release before Christmas!
  5. You should totally share this on the following thread as well:
  6. In 10 hours?! I'll be happy to have one of my green fellows walking the surface of Mun in that amount of time. And that's without a ticket home, respect for you skills! Still waiting for a PS4 patch though...
  7. Thanks for all you have done Kasper, although my account is young I've been lurking the forums for quite some years. You've done great and the forums will be a lesser place without you! Best of luck with all your future endeavors!
  8. Same here, played KSP since 0.17 and was looking forward to go trophy hunting on the PS4 with all my knowledge acquired so far. Now I just get a foul taste of thinking of KSP, i seriously am not enjoying it anymore on the PC. I can't help but think that Squad is not to blame as in the past they have been great in terms of transparency and reaction times. This whole problem with the console versions is something else, and it must be FTE. Squad is just not willing (or not allowed) to say what it is.
  9. Must also be the reason why the Europe release has been postponed, wondering if the QA procedure for their store is different. I do believe that SQUAD has little to do with the lack of progress and might not be up to date on what FT is doing on weekly basis and therefore focused the devnote on the PC version. Still it is taking for too long, this is unacceptable for any company. I like SQUAD, they have been great on keeping us up to date with how the PC versions are doing but this is just making me sad.
  10. Having played the PC version quite a lot, do you mean the claw which is meant to grab onto planets? I never tried it on a craft but it could just be meant to grab onto asteroids (for redirecting purpose) and not onto crafts. Now to get that thing back from orbit I had a comparable challenge with my first PS4 Mun landing where the rocket tumbled over while Jeb was on on EVA (SAS stopped when exiting command pod) and I was able to grab onto it by using landing gears which scooped the rocket from the surface. After it was about 100m in the air I released the rocket and powered up the engine again, but you might be able to tow it into Kerbin's atmosphere (below 70.000m). Best of luck!
  11. Yeah it's an amazing game, have been playing it since 0.17 on the PC but after two carreers ending in a save corruption I'm not even going to bother to start over again until there's a fix. I would have been fine with things like wheels not working pre-1.0 release or mysterious RUDs at that point but if you do release on a new platform your QA should be more then just release the game and see how it goes. I'm with you on the price-tag that's fine but these bugs should not be in a release and if so should be hot-fixed within days not weeks. Big fan of the work Squad has done the 4 past years yet this feels like a disappointment (assuming QA and the brand are still their responsibility). PS4 Refunding seems to be out of the question so I'll just take my losses and keep playing the PC version.
  12. Nice hypothesis, will try it out on the PS and report my findings, although it took me 4 nights before my big crash last time so it might take a moment or two. EDIT: Save got killed on my first Duna approach, at least I'm getting pretty good at the start of the game. Designed all my vessels in such a way that there wouldn't be any "space litter".
  13. Especially the camera target swapping and the EVA controls have been quite a pain in the butt to me. You can reset the camer through L1+L2+R3 to refocus on the craft but it still happens often enough to be a nuisance. In EVA the game also seems to only register forward or sideways movement and you can therefore not move diagonal in the XY plane. When latching on to a ladder the camera sometimes spins and sends the kerbal flying. Though I always had enough monopropolent left to fly back it hasn't killed any kerbals yet. I bought the game on the day of release here in europe through an US account. Otherwise the Controls are pretty fine to me, it was my biggest concern when switching from PC. Now if only my 20+ hour save game didn't get corrupted I'd still be playing it. For now I'll just wait for the next patch
