So... I decided to copy the part folder for the stack decoupler, and increase its\' ejection force to 3500. It was designed to be a very crude 'bullet' of sorts. I then placed a rocket on the launch pad, and drove a small vehicle with the 'bullet' mounted on it. When I fired the bullet at the rocket, the rocket completely exploded, killing the Kerbals inside. When I looked at my crews\' faces... they were ALL smiling.

KSP may be for kids (by this I mean it\'s not bloody or vulgar), but the devs did not make them very caring of what happens to their companions.

I\'ve noticed my crew smiling during a Mun landing... when I landed on top of a crewed lander already on the surface... and burnt the crew in there alive.

The way I see it, Bill and Bob joined the KSP without knowing who their third partner and captain of the crew would be, and realised they signed up for their deaths.

yep it is on evas you zoom in AND its freaky once i was doing eva i had my jetpack i was on kerbland so i was flying and hit my kerbs body on a piece of derbis and it died like -snaps- that fast

I think somebody forgot to tell them that the rocket was manned. They loved watching the firework from a safe distance, they didn't know about the people in it...
