Inflatable habitat in stock and/or robotic parts

Recommended Posts

I see inflatable habitats having many uses for example it means it would be  lighter launching it into orbit and with the  addition to the ISS of the Bigelow aerospace module and yes I know there are mods for that and there are many cases where it would be useful and to have robotic arms to assemble stations to easily connect parts on orbit so you can replicate CRS-8 Spacex mission witch cared the Bigelow aerospace module and dock it

They are not actually that much lighter AFAIK, but they do offer more space.

I think the problem with inflatable habitation modules might have problems with hitboxes. But since we don't have a good career and yet it's called a "finished product" then I wouldn't mind having a (possibly) buggy part in my game.

And what the hell is wrong with my sentences today? I just wish I could edit posts on mobile...

I like the idea of this, if done right they could also function as surface habitats too.

They may not be especially lightweight, they have to be quite strong to hold pressure etc after all, but it could be an alternative to 'flatpack' buildings as a way to get larger structures that can be transported in cargo bays.
