Stock Visual Terrain gives stiped planets

Recommended Posts

When i install Stock Visual Terrain most of the planets in map mode or tracking station are "striped"  (see imgur album)

This happened after the latest SVT update, before that only kerbin on the main menu had this, not in game.

Anyone know what causes this and have a solution?

I run ksp 1.1.3 on linux mint 18 with a 750Ti gfx.

excuses in advance if this question has already been asked, couldn't find anything with search.

Didn't check the SVT thread?

I don't know what causes this but I only see this issue with people that have either Linux or OSX.  So this leads me to believe that it is a conflict with OpenGL.

There are more questions like yours that may have received better answers on the kopernicus thread and also on other planet pack threads.

As of right now there is no fix.

Fwiw, I have the same problem even with the latest "fix for white kerbin" release. I'm using ArchLinux. There are a few other graphics defects in the stock game: purple polygon in the navball when rendezvous and menu entries are always visible without scrolling. Do you get them too?

I do not.  Linux does not play very nice with this mod as far as I know.  The only issues being brought up are from OSX and Linux users.  Something to do with opengl.  I can't do anything about it as I don't run either of those os'
