Source for historical missions

Is there any source for major historical missions with details regarding the following?

  • When was the mission?
  • What rocket, propellant, payload (if any) was used?
  • What path was taken to the destination?
  • What scientific instruments did the payload have? Was the payload a lander or probe. What was its goal?
  • Which country launched the mission and from which launch site?
  • What was the mass of the rocket / payload?

I have seen many YT videos about replicating history but they don't tell where they got the above information from?

Wikipedia alone is likely to provide enough information, especially on Western-made vehicles and payloads. You can then trace the elements of the launch vehicles, such as a Shuttle followed by a two-stage solid-rocket motor for the Galileo.
