Is it possible to have a negative number of notifications?

Sooooo.... I was on the forums this morning when I noticed this: 

It literally says that I have -2 notifications! How is that... Whaaaa? Something's wrong with that. Could someone please tell me if it's like a freak incident, or if it's a bug, cause now it's getting annoying. I have no idea if I'm reporting this in the right place, but I'm just a bit weirded out.

That is rather odd, I assume you are on mobile? The icons seem different from the ones I have in my browser.

Have you checked on a different browser or device to see if the problem is machine specific?

Do the negative notifications disappear after viewing your notifications?

This happened to me before. I think it happens when you open notifications on mobile and then press on one, and then press back again so you go back a page.

I am on mobile. Well, for the screenshot, anyway. But it went away after a few reloads. Still kinda weird.

Try moving away from massive objects such as neutron stars or black holes, then restart your star system. If the problem persists, contact universe support.

I see two possibilities.

1. You read two notifications and then traveled back in time to before you received those notifications resulting in having read 2 more notifications than you received.

2. It's a forum glitch.

 

I, for one, am rooting for the first option.
