Almost The Wright Flyer

Recommended Posts

Though it may look, smell, and taste similarly to the real world Wright Flyer, the Orbitech Wright Flyer is different in many ways, the least of which is the presence of a single engine, a different wing design, and a electrical engine which has a habit of running out of power and/or separating itself from the main craft. Despite its flaws though, it shows that tiny engines can indeed be useful, even if they are a tad unreliable. Also, if it means anything to you, it's faster than the Spirit of St Louis replica I build for some reason.

The craft is indeed based off the actual Wright Flyer, but I chose a different direction to go with it. It holds 2 crew members, but flies fine with 0 pilots due to the built-in probe core. Do not immerse in water over 18 degrees Celsius. Anyways, here are some cool pictures!

Do be warned that this plane takes some more piloting expertise compared to my other craft, especially during take-off. Use trim to revv up the engine (ALT and Q), press 1 to lower RPM to safe levels, turn on SAS on main craft, and tap the D key at 35 m/s.
