SPH Craft not loading

For unknown reasons, my SPH crafts are not showing up in the vessel loader menu. I checked the save file location for the .craft files, and all of my SPH craft are still there, but for whatever reason, fail to appear in game.

I thought it was due to mods, but then I stripped the game of mods. Still, the error persists. Possibly, the mods could have messed with something else, but I do not know what.

I transferred my save files to a clean installation of the game, one that has never been touched by mods (except the .craft files made via mods), and even then, the same error continues on. I tried deleting particular files among the save data, but I can't seem to find the cause of the trouble. I can start a new profile, and it will work properly, but for whatever reason, my SPH .craft files.

And to add to that, I can save crafts,but even after saving, it does not show up in the SPH section.

My problem is only with the SPH category. Somehow, VLB crafts are still available.

 

Any ways of rectifying this problem?

(Also, not sure if this helps, but a sort of "guidance system" appeared on the screen. I might have bumped a button, but this came up at about the same time as my error. It seems to focus on the runway, and involved red and yellow colors that change size according to your distance form the runway and speed. This problem might, somehow be related, but I do not see how.)

Apparently if you save a craft with no parts in SPH or VAB crafts from the saved location can no longer load. The solution is to manually delete the saved files in SPH or VAB (wherever the error is located). This problem will no show up as an error because it technically isn't an error to be able to save crafts with no parts. You can also move your regular crafts to VAB. I do believe that your other error might be different because I have had the loading error but never the "guidance system" error. Please see someone else for that second one.

That guidance display is from Kerbal Konstructs, check the KK button and you can select which options you want on

As mentioned above your save problem is likely due to a corrupt craft or empty craft file,  saved crafts can become corrupted if mods they use, change meshes/ models etc in later versions
