Played with wheel traction.. skated more.. Uninstalled... it's Still crap. We don't need wheels that slide sideways. You may now all get mad at me for being irritated. Enjoy. Made a rover that fills fully within frame of 4 ruggedized wheels, so no matter which way you flip it, wheels are the only thing that touches the ground. It should still drive normally if it does a wheelie and flips over - wheels still rotate in the same direction, turning left still has the inner sides of left wheels turn towards the body - I call it ambiupperous. Nope, the upper face of the wheels is purely decorative, Only their bottoms provide propulsion. Didn't work in 1.0.3, didn't work in 1.1.3, will it work in 1.2? They have always been not-wheels and all the ongoing wheel related drama, since day-one, is due to this over-simplified single-point wheel simulation. Wheel is not a wheel -> re-invent wheel. Physics sim is not realistic enough -> fix physics sim. Reliance on unity builtins / third-party plugins limits functionality -> write better unity plugin. KSP isn't a simulator, it's a game where you build stuff using it's very simplistic version of physics.
