I was burned by console KSP.  This is my first, only, and probably last internet forum.  I cannot find a delete profile link in my account settings. I asked a SQUAD staff member if it is possible to delete my forum profile.  The message was read, but I received no response.  I asked the community manager to delete my profile.  If it happens then sayonara KSP.  If not then it's a trap.

My question is

Do all internet forums not have a 'delete profile' link?

Thanks @Dr. Jet.  When I read a recent post by a KSP forum moderator that wished death upon 'flat earthers', I knew I was in the wrong place for sharing extrospections.

Most forum software does not permit that directly, it has to be done by an administrator.

Most Squad staff members do not have the permissions on the forum to delete accounts. Separation of areas of responsibility and all that.

I'm not sure who you asked, but if you really want this we can accommodate you. Since account deletion is permanent and irreversible we'll give you 24 hours to change your mind before deleting your account, starting now. If you decide otherwise please post back here.

Squad is aware of your challenges with the recent console release and wishes that you'll give them time to right their wrongs. KSP is a fantastic game, once the problems are fixed you'll see it a lot of new worlds to explore  .

The current listed Community Manager likely is KasperVld and he just left the Squad team to go onto grander frontiers, so your message likely isn't the best for him to manage since he's no longer the Community Manager.

Sadly, seeing as you've only been here 22 days, I do ask you choose to stay. Having been here for nearly 3 years now, I can say this forum is a fantastic place and you may have just gotten started on the wrong foot (if the console wasn't already the other foot to begin with). So please, I hope you deicide to stick around, we are better than most communities, really. I have visited other places and this one definitely stands out well.

It's possible this may have been taken out of context or was meant jokingly rather than literally. Which moderator, if I may ask? Generally this forum expects more from it's members than to completely shut out other's opinions. I would suggest sharing your opinion as this community is open minded rather than single minded. So please, enlighten us of your view on this "Flat Earth" topic  . That's one thing I always liked about this forum, (normally) it's accepting and willing to listen to whatever you have to say.
