Zoo's [NEW] Aircraft Hanger [Finished!]

This is now a new place for all my crafts or at least for my new line of aircraft. I have flown them and they are a lot of fun to fly. I tried to get a balance of realism but yet easy to master challenge in each. Some are based off of real aircraft, some are originals. I hope you'll take a look and try some out while your here  .

Vessel Designations:

A- mk1/1.25m parts

B- mk2 parts

C- mk3 parts

D- 2.5m parts

E- 5m parts

F- other

Vessels have their name, then are followed by their size class and then the number of engines, then the number of passenger modules multiplied by 100. So for example, the Vecjet A-2300 is based off of the mk1/1.25 meter part range, with 2 engines and 3 passenger modules.

AirTran C-2500

This is a standard C-Body aircraft that is a perfect balance of speed and reliability. She's a great passenger aircraft for anyone needing a quick fix.

 

Apex C-81000

This is the king of our passenger fleet. She is the biggest we offer carrying 160 Kerbals. She's not quick or nimble, but she is great for ferrying your Kerbals to your destinations!

 

Chase B-1100

This is a great civilian vehicle for transport or just normal flight. This is similar to the Cessna 172 from real life. This is a great training tool for flying in Kerbal Space Program as it controls well, but too much steering can cause stalling.

 

Delta A-2200

This is a longer duration personal jet airliner. Great for carrying larger parties to and fro, and thankfully it carries more fuel than other jet liners of it's size class. The cost of additional fuel does also impact speed, but it still flies well.

 

Re-Dove

This is a modified version of the game's stock "Dove" aircraft. I changed out it's SSTO capabilities for aircraft, and it's now just as maneuverable and reliable as ever before but now for longer! Credit to the original creator.

 

Einstein C-4100

This is a vehicle that has all the stock game's science inside. This is intended for flying across Kerbin and collecting any and all science whether it be high or low altitude. Thanks to it's engines, it can climb to higher altitudes allowing it to maximize it's scientific load-out.

 

Kasper C-2400

This is a different take on the C-Body airliner class in that the engines are swept over the wings rather than below them. This has no major flight differences, but it's great for verity. This is of course, named after the previous Community Manager @KasperVld.

 

Kerbair C-2300

This is a weaker yet more reliable C-Body airliner carrying less passengers than most but yet still capable for it's class. This one uses two Wheesly engines rather than Goliaths which helps save in cost and fuel.

M.A.S.H. Copter

This is a lightweight aircraft that can ferry two Kerbals on it's arms. It would have carried wounded soldiers during the Korean War to Mobile Army Surgical Hospitals (M.A.S.H.) where they would receive additional medical treatment. This also had a thread for it before, here.

 

Micron A-1100

This is an exceptionally lightweight aircraft more meant for civilian uses. It has limited fuel, but it still has great reliability and control.

 

Millennium C-2400

This is a higher powered C-Body aircraft that can carry decent amount of passengers and yet has greater speed than average.

 

Oil Rig (Fuel Powered)

This is a Oil Rig that can be deployed just about anywhere and will drill for resources where it's left. It has a docking port so you can drain resources. This particular variant is powered by fuel cells, however there are versions for RTG power, battery power, and solar power.

 

Steele BD-2400

This is a heavier light class jet that is B class but adapts into D class hence why it is one of the few that has a combination of classes. Despite it's irregular shape, it flies and operates just as well as the rest of our aircraft.

This is a fast C-Body aircraft that can carry moderate amount of passengers are at faster speeds than any of our other aircrafts.

 

Trainer A-2000

This is a intended to be a training vehicle for new players. It has decent power while still being very agile. It is nearly impossible to stall. Great plane to fly.

 

Vecjet A-2300

This is one of my finest A class jets. It's flight is only matched by it's excellence. It is capable of smooth flight and decent journeys across Kerbin.

 

Wrightworks F-1000

This is based off of bi-planes of the early 1900s. This is slow, but it can maneuver well with care. This might at least shed some light on what flight was like for early Kerbal pioneering pilots.

These crafts should work in version 1.1.3. Please report any issues you encounter, how you use them, your thoughts and so on.
