I started talking about a mob farm a while back. I got a prototype working in creative mode, and so far it is doing great in day time. It takes a 11x11x12 space for a medium efficiency, the mobs tend to get stuck sometimes. It does use a little bit of redstone for the drowning chamber so spiders can't climb out of it, 4 hoppers for collecting the items and about 20 blocks of ice, but its benefit is that it shouldn't stress the server too much.

I'll start building on Sunday if I get permission!

Alright. I had at least three stacks of Redstone, and I had like 10 diamonds and probably like 5 emeralds, and maybe a stack of lapis, an iron horse armour, some wool and wood and rocks. I also had maybe 15 gold ore. How should I prevent griefing in the future?

If you want you can have some of my redstone. I think I have more than I need right now. I also have a stack of wool that I don't care about at all.

I just had someone place a torch and redstone in an x shape in my house, and loot one of my chests to make it spell "HEL." It was probably a prank, but I'm still really miffed that they basically robbed and vandalized my house.

There's a line between pranks and griefing, but the problem is, that line is different for everyone. What might be funny for one person is griefing for another.

no offence, but how does that sound like vandalism and robbery? that's a little bit over exagerating

Well, there are commonalities in everybody's definition of griefing. Such as stealing.

Tbh I didn't need the stuff I lost and probably wasn't going to use it for a while either. I'm just miffed that someone thought to steal.

like I was on the server from the moment I fixed it, 1 new guy joins, doesn't say a thing and runs about the place the leaves and hasn't came back, another new guy joins and asks where can he build, I tell him not on peoples stuff, he leaves, but im putting my suspicions on flaming_goldfish he didn't say a word and didn't do a thing other than sneak around

If someone if griefing I really need to make my secret storage...

The chest held stacks of granite, which weren't there after it got reorganized. And I consider drawing an X on the floor of my house vandalism.

I don't like the fact that someone came to my house and messed with my stuff.
