Vessel Loading Error, missing stock parts?

When I attempt to load my saved game, a pop up box informs me that almost every ship I have cannot come out to play because "Vessel Loading Error Vessel Space Station MK2 was not loaded because it had the following parts missing: strutConnectorHeavy"

I also cannot access any of the ships in the VAB because they "Contain locked or invalid parts"

This is a stock part... I am scratching my head. I tried verifying the game cache through steam, but it's not fixed the issue.

Hi @Stonedog, strutConnectorHeavy is not a stock part.

You likely had KIS/KAS or EVAstruts installed.
